Opioid Alliance Named a Winner in the 2020 Sharecare Awards

The Ohio Opioid Education Alliance was named a winner in the 2020 Sharecare Awards in the category of addiction/recovery for the Denial, OH campaign.

Established by Sharecare in association with The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, New York Chapter (NY NATAS), the Sharecare Awards promote and reward excellence for the best productions and programming in health and well-being.

“We are  honored to receive this award,” said Chad Jester of Nationwide Foundation, “but there is so much work left to do. When we created the fictional town of Denial, OH, we hoped it would shift the mindset and change perception of parents who don’t believe their children would abuse opioids. While we weren’t thinking about winning awards, it is affirmation that our message is resonating.”
