Developing the Denial, OH Campaign

Two years ago, the Nationwide Foundation partnered with the Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board of Franklin County to raise awareness about the opioid crisis and help prevent the next generation from abusing prescription opioids. Together, they launched the “Don’t Live in Denial, Ohio” campaign aimed at inciting parents to talk to their kids about opioids and urge them to properly dispose of old or leftover prescription medications. Hear from Nationwide’s Chief Marketing Officer Ramon Jones and Marketing Director Melissa Nail on WCKX’s Eye on the Community on how the campaign was developed and why it resonates with such a large audience.
